EAS Console Features / Essbase Database Properties in Calculation Manager

Isn’t it amazing that you now do not have to login to EAS Console for most of the administration as it is now available via Calculation Manager.

 
While I was working in Calculation Manager, under “Actions” drop down list under “System View” tab, I spotted an option “Database Properties”.

On clicking this, planning and Essbase applications will be displayed. When you select any database under planning application, you will be able to see Tab similar to the ones that are shown in EAS Console such as follows:

• General
• Dimension
• Statistics
• Caches
• Transactions
• Modifications

 

Also, when you right click on the database, you will see following options:

• Remove Lock(s)
• Start Database
• Stop Database
• Restructure Database
• Tune DB Settings
• Clear >>
• Location Alias
